Coral Tooth

Hericium coralloides

Coral Tooth (Hericium coralloides)
12cc liquid culture syringe
$15 - $25 suggested donation
SOLD OUT
A North American native, the Coral Tooth shares many similarities with its adored close cousin, Lion's Mane. Its habitat, wood preferences, flavor, medicinal benefits and morphology are all very comparable, but the Coral Tooth forms cascading tufts of spines which are usually shorter and stiffer than the shaggy Lion's Mane.

Long prized by foragers and chefs, Coral Tooth mushrooms are among the most delicious and exotic commercial varieties. They delight customers with a novel, even strange appearance backed up by impeccable flavor.

Like Lion's Mane, H. coralloides grows slowly in sterile culture, producing thin, wispy mycelium. But pound-for-pound, it demonstrates high biological efficiency and consistent yields, with a reasonable time to fruit and great shelf life.

Cancellation Policy

Excluding custom orders, your order may be cancelled for a full refund at any time until they have been shipped. Once an order is shipped it will not be refunded.
