Mushroom substrate is mostly water, which gets expensive to ship around. This bulk option is the most economical way to ship our substrate. Just add water, mix and pasteurize. (Dung-loving mushrooms thrive in substrate that has been pasteurized, rather than sterilized, to preserve some of its beneficial microorganisms.)
This substrate is specifically formulated for dung-loving mushrooms. We do not work with these mushroom varieties at Fungaia, so we have partnered with our friends at True Blue Genetics to get you a discount on great genetics.
